German Shepherd Search Dogs Required Equipment for Workouts
What follows is the minimum equipment guests must carry to be in the field
for GSSD workouts. If you'd like to see a sample of what an average searcher carries,
check out Dan
Comden's pack contents.
- Pack

- Plastic bag for maps, pencil, paper
- Closed-cell foam pad
- Water (for you AND dog)
- First aid kit (for you AND dog)
- Compass (2 degree increments, liquid filled)

pack. If you wear cotton, you WILL get cold!

Anyone is welcome to come to a workout but no one (guests or

any equipment questions you might have.
